Dear Dealers, 2011 has kicked off to an incredibly busy start. Your strong efforts to finish the year, has left our 2011 schedule full of installations and meetings to attend.Thank you for your continued support! The new Opal-wRIS, Viztek’s web-based RIS solution, is now being implemented at multiple sites, and due to its great popularity is scheduled to go in many more facilities over the next 4-6 weeks. Please be aware of the lead time when discussing the product’s installation with your customers. We’re happy to announce an Opal-CR image quality improvement. The new modification is more forgiving for those using poor imaging techniques or low-frequency radiology rooms, and offers more detail on underexposed shots. Viztek has recently added touchscreen monitor support and a new automatic scan feature to the CR acquire offering. This combination of added functionalities offers increased workflow efficiency by 20%. The new auto-scan feature allows techs to select image settings and insert the cassette with no further intervention needed for scanning. Customer Support News: We would like to introduce Jerry Feth, previously our VIP accounts manager as the new manager of Viztek’s KLAS Ranked Customer Service Center. David Wille has transitioned to the Director of IT leading projects which will take Viztek to new heights. As a reminder, when submitting purchase orders, please be sure to include the customer’s contact information (if applicable). The will ensure that your order is processed quickly and efficiently through the system. We appreciate the business you bring to Viztek and want to provide your clients with the best service possible. In an effort to facilitate call center workflow, we are taking some time to proactively input customer information in to our support software database. This alleviates support call volume back-up, due to individuals taking time to collect basic site information. Paris Orthopedics (Paris, TX) – Orthopedic facility receives Opal-ORTHO PACS and the U-Arm DR for the five physician practice. Mt Vernon Internal Medicine Group (Alexandria, VA) – A four-facility practice purchased several Viztek DR configurations and a centralized Opal-RAD PACS to manage the facilities.
