March Newsletter

March NewsletterMarch Edition
It’s March already and the first quarter of 2011 has proved to be extremely successful thus far, thanks to all the hard work you have put in.Product News
We are featuring several new, very exciting products. The first is our recently released Cesium 17x17 fixed and 14x17 tethered ViZion DR Panel. The image quality paired with it’s ultra-competitive price point and Viztek’s superior acquisition and processing software is unrivaled in the market.
The product is ideal for various uses including the following:
- retrofit for general radiographic systems
- mobile environment, including retrofit for Sourceray SR 115 and 130, Min X-Ray systems, and Sterne Acu-Ray systems
- CR replacement, and any other facility that wants to experience the ease of DR imaging on a CR budget.
- new x-ray configurations for u-arm, dual, and single systems (dual systems can include both 14x17 and 17x17 for a single system)
No other DR company in the field can compete with the image quality and price point Viztek offers.

Opal-RAD PACS now features an Opal-Forwarder feature, ideal for imaging centers and teleradiology groups. The feature uses conditional rules to assure that all patient demographics sent from outside PACS solutions correspond with the available DICOM fields in the Opal-RAD PACS. This product is able to correct nearly any bad DICOM data, that often creates the need for manual intervention.

The Opal-MD package continues to experience growth in the market offering true web-based capabilities. The solution has the robust features of a full enterprise-level PACS like a full HL7 suite available, but stays competitive with the ability to customize and scale to the size of each practice.

February trade shows were a huge success! CalJam and AAOS, both in California, had great attendance and we were able to meet with many chiropractors and physicians in the orthopedic field, respectively.
This month we will be attending the Midwest Podiatry Conference on the 3rd, in Chicago IL, at booth 628 and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons Conference in Ft Lauderdale on the 9th, at booth 703.
Both the Opal-MD and 20/20 DR trainings this past month were well attended and we are in the process of planning another Opal-MD training for the coming months. We have scheduled a Viztek technical DR training for May 9th. It is limited to 5 spots and will fill up quickly. If you are interested in any training opportunities, please contact Ronny Bachrach for more information at 919-792-6420.

We appreciate all the cooperation with the customer data input form and for those that are new to the Viztek newsletter blog, we are working on taking some time to proactively input customer information in to our support software database. This alleviates support call volume back-up, due to individuals taking time to collect basic site information. Please participate in the efforts to improve support by following the link below which will take you to a customer data input form. http://12.70.252.159/newsiteinfo/default.aspx

We also want to thank you for your support with submitting the customer contact information with all applicable purchase orders. It facilitates the order process and allows us to process your orders in the most timely manner.
